sent to my home. During a routine drainline cleanout we
discovered the drain is broken where it connects to the
city's sewer main. The tech carefully explained what
was wrong, how it happened, and how we would proceed.
He never made me feel stupid or like he was talking down

Services and what to tell them. I was prepared and

"Since we have installed
the Trane heat pump our energy bills have reduced to
less than $200 per month equal pay for both electricity
and gas service combined. We also have electric water
heating and an outside electrically heated hot tub,
which we use daily throughout the year, yes, in the
wintertime as well. Thus, being on the KCPL
‘all-electric’ rate has benefited us with the lower
electric rates. Our gas usage is limited to the back-up
heat source for the heat pump. This limited usage of gas
keeps our monthly rate very low. We did get an increase
in the gas rate,, but was insignificant due to our
limited use.
The Gold Maintenance plan has served us well. We have
had plumbing issues, gas hot water heater replaced with
an electric unit, several appliance repairs. In each
case the response time for service was very prompt. The
service persons were very cordial and thorough in
performing their diagnostic analysis of each problem and
were able to complete necessary repairs in a timely
